At Rewilding The Soul

Kim Stone
Mindfulness Teacher
Wellbeing Coach | Nature Lover

  • I’m Kim, a mindfulness teacher, wellbeing coach, and founder of Mudita Salus CIC & Naturally Mindful. Based in North Somerset, I guide others in reconnecting with themselves through nature, creativity, and mindful living.

My journey has included time in the military, education, and mental health support—and each chapter has deepened my passion for creating safe, inclusive spaces where people can breathe, reflect, and feel held.

Inspired by my own experiences of anxiety and healing, I now focus on nature-based approaches to wellbeing, blending compassion with creativity to support others on their path.

  • Mindful Photography Workshop: A gentle invitation to slow down, see with fresh eyes, and connect deeply with nature through your lens. No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to pause.

Event Management: I’ll be here leading up to and throughout the weekend to guide, support, and help create a nurturing atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.

Event Co-Organiser: I’ve lovingly co-curated this retreat with community, healing, and accessibility at its heart.

  • Nature has been my anchor in times of struggle and a source of joy in recovery. Through this work, I hope to offer others the same sense of connection, calm, and possibility.

Abigail Legg

  • Abigail dragon spark
    weaver of song,
    worshipper of trees
    a heart opener
    cackle in the flames
    tending community fires
    lending strength in leading
    support and singing circles
    bringing people home
    to their earthen selves,
    in wholeness
    and celebration
    no shame, pure joy,
    and deep, deep listening

    My experience?
As I write my list of relevant experiences for Rewilding The Soul I realise all roles are people centred - in person - from support roles to hosting events, teaching or stewarding. The thing that fuels me is bringing people together and everyone feeling heard. Whether that’s stewarding and helping a tired mum pack her camping gear away post festival, holding talking circles across the world, or singing to an Oak tree in Bristol - my soul calling is to help expand our listening to each other and the earth.

    • Tree Folk Sing, monthly and seasonal gatherings in green spaces to sing with the trees

    • Massage and Reiki energy practitioner, Plantbelly Massage

    • Trained as a wellbeing choir leader with Birch Tree Folk Choir, Bath

    • Resident Community member at Half Moon Field, Devon

    • Community Organiser with LoveJam Bristol and GodisAlive, The Bristol Cathedral

    • Fire Keeper with Lovejam Festival, and the FYR at Boomtown Festival

    • Support worker for adults with learning needs at Raphael House, Bristol

    • Peer Support Facilitator for mental health support groups with Changes, Bristol - co- facilitating the Women’s group and LGBTQ+ group

    • Resident volunteer at Reserva Los Nogales, Nicaragua - forest school teaching and teaching English to local adults and children - we sang a lot!

    • Drama and Theatre BA Hons Degree

    • Usher and Bar Supervisor at Bristol Old Vic Theatre

  • Let's sing to the trees, with the trees and as the trees!

    ROOT
We will begin with a grounding meditation to arrive and root.
    OPEN
Then some vocal and body warm ups to open and expand.
    GROW
Next learning songs as a group by call and response to connect and liberate our voices and selves. Songs learned from others at fires, choirs or gifted to me by the gentle green giants themselves.

No choir or musical experience necessary.
Join in as you are. All ages and abilities welcome.

No experience needed! We learn the songs by playing with sounds and repeating the words by call and response which means I sing a line, you sing a line. We layer up as a group to create harmonies or rounds or a general playful cauldron of sounds!

  • I've been holding monthly singing circles in green spaces across Bristol city as a way to stay connected to this place as I roam further afield, and, ofcourse, to celebrate and revere the trees as they so deserve.

May we remember them with every breath. May we become them in movement and song. May we play and listen and learn.

It feels like a perfect offering to bring TREE FOLK SING to this weekend retreat as my year circling back to Bristol would have ended in June, as I lay roots down in Devon. Having grown up in Somerset, the South West is very dear to me and I feel giddy and blessed to co-create magic at Goblin woods, calling in the energies of Avalon County, the nearby Avon city and all the dear tree folk I have met this year and beyond.

Occupational Therapist
Person-Centred Psychotherapist Nature-based Practitioner.

  • Nature connection plays an integral part in all these roles, whether this is facilitating nature-based sensory experiences, exploring emotions through one-to-one nature-crafting or holding social and therapeutic horticultural groups in community and hospital settings.

Being accessible to all, nature has so much to offer us and I believe that meaningful engagement with the natural world is essential in supporting both our physical health and emotional well-being.

  • Nature Crafts Workshops

An opportunity to make something using a range of natural materials to connect with and explore your own innate sense of creativity and bring you closer to your natural being. You don’t have to be an accomplished artist or craftsperson to enjoy this workshop – it’s all about the process rather than the finished product. A full demonstration will be provided and all materials are included.

  • My love of nature and connection with the natural world has been instilled in me since my early childhood with family walks across the Mendip Hills whatever the weather! Through the ever-changing landscape of my own life, nature has been a constant source of strength, courage, resilience, comfort and calm. I believe that working in harmony with nature can connect us to our own unique and individual path in life and bring us the peace and contentment we can often crave in today’s complex world.

Lee Townsend
Nature Health Facilitator
Community Builder

  • After many years working in Environmental, Health & Safety, I decided to follow my heart and step into something more aligned with my love of nature and people. I’m now training with Natural Academy in Nature Well – Nature Health Facilitator, and alongside my work with Mudita Salus CIC, I run a small handyman business where I support others through practical help and problem-solving.

Born and raised in Bristol, I’ve always found peace in the outdoors and purpose in supporting others. I believe in the power of simple things—like walking together, sharing stories, or fixing something that’s broken—as ways to build trust and connection.

I am well known for my delicious hot chocolate!

  • Nature Connection Walk: A gentle, grounding walk to help you slow down, breathe deeper, and feel more at home in the natural world.

Event Co-Organiser: Behind the scenes, I help make everything run smoothly so you can feel fully held during your time with us.

Practical Support: Whether it’s setting up, sorting supplies, or just being a calm, steady presence—if something needs doing, I’m your guy.

  • For me, it’s about creating safe, welcoming spaces where people feel like they belong. Where you can be yourself, slow down, and know someone’s got your back.

Joe Keppie-Bray
Bushcraft
Wilderness skills instructor

  • I'm Joe, a bushcraft and wilderness skills instructor with a passion for exploring the natural world. I've been practising outdoor skills since my teens, developing a deep connection with nature that combines practical knowledge with a holistic, intuitive approach. I believe that reconnecting with nature and ancestral practices can help address modern challenges while enriching our lives and promoting wellbeing. With experience in everything from cider apple picking to wildflower meadow creation and livestock management, I bring diverse perspectives to my work as an outdoor facilitator.

  • Primitive fire lighting workshop: covering ancient methods like bowdrill and flint and steel, as well as modern techniques using firesteels. The session will start with a talk and demo, followed by a discussion. We’ll then explore the surrounding landscape for materials, harvesting sustainably, before returning to the workshop space for hands-on fire-making practice.

  • Fire has shaped human culture, technology, and biology since the beginning of our story on Earth. Developing a relationship with this powerful force is essential. Learning to create fire with basic equipment and natural materials is a satisfying and empowering skill. This ancient craft requires a deep knowledge of the landscape, enhancing our connection with nature in a profound way.

My approach is gentle, intuitive, and rooted in a deep respect for each individual’s healing journey.

  • At Rewilding The Soul, I’ll be offering gentle, restorative treatments to support relaxation and reconnection with self (please note there will be additional charge for these).

    • Indian Head Massage: A deeply relaxing treatment that helps release stress and tension held in the head, neck, and shoulders. This session promotes calm, mental clarity, and a sense of peace.

    • Reiki: A gentle, energy-based practice that supports emotional balance, energetic alignment, and deep rest. Reiki is non-invasive and suitable for anyone seeking stillness and inner healing.

  • I believe that creating moments of stillness and care can be powerful for people who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected. I’m passionate about helping others feel held, seen, and gently restored—especially in spaces like Rewilding The Soul, where nature and community meet to support healing.
